Apricot Dental

Your First Visit

At Apricot Dental, we know that visiting a new dentist for the first time can be a little intimidating. But there is nothing we enjoy more than meeting new patients and welcoming them warmly to our extended family!

Our goal is to make your first experience with us so exceptional that you will know you have found your dental home for life!

If you’re ready to schedule your first visit to Apricot Dental, please call us at (972) 961-9003 or send us an email using our online contact form.

Completing Your Paperwork

Before your first appointment, we need to gather some essential information about you that will help us understand what your oral health needs are at this moment. There are new patient forms we ask you to fill out including your medical history.

You can find everything you need here on our forms page. It’s best if you can download and complete them at your leisure. But if you can’t, don’t worry – just plan to arrive about 15 minutes before your appointment and complete them here in our comfortable dental office.

What You Need to Bring

Please bring a photo ID as well as any insurance cards or credit cards you plan to use.

Your First Appointment

When you arrive at Apricot Dental, you can expect to be welcomed warmly by name. You will meet our front desk manager Nancy who will check you in and gather your information.

Mayra will bring you back to your treatment room and get you settled comfortably with a neck pillow and blanket if you like. During your first visit, you will meet with Dr. Randhawa and our dental hygienist Lynn.

Dr. Randhawa will first spend some time chatting with you and learning about what your priorities are for a healthier smile. She’ll perform a comprehensive exam and note any areas of concern. Next, you’ll have a thorough cleaning with Lynn, and she will also look for signs of gum disease that may require treatment.

Developing a Personalized Treatment Plan

Dr. Randhawa will discuss her findings with you, and if she finds that you need treatment, she will explain what the problem is and how addressing it early will benefit you. We’ll personalize a treatment plan that takes all your unique needs into account and helps you achieve your oral health goals.

Before you leave, you’ll speak with our front desk manager Nancy, who will review your insurance and financial needs and help you schedule future appointments as necessary.
